As I am preparing to begin cleaning up the servers I still see lots of people who have material stored in their profile. This might be because they have tried to delete and it didn’t work but in order to avoid any possible confusion, and to avoid the loss of any material that people might really want to keep, please see the following:

Even though it says it’s on your C:/ Drive, your “My Docs” is copied to the server when you log off, as is whatever is on your desktop. (In fact, anything that is listed under “user” is mirrored to the server ). We want to get rid of the material there so that we can implement quotas and get rid of roaming profiles eventually.

Anything under Z:/ lives only on the server and this too must be pared back.

Any folder you create directly under C:/ exists solely on your machine and must be manually backed-up. Anything here will not be deleted.

Files stored in the shared spaces on the S:/ drive also need to be looked at.
